The representation of EFL context-based cultures in an international EYL textbook

چکیده
The present content analysis study intended to investigate the cultural contents of an international EYL textbook used in Indonesian private elementary schools. It examined representation themes categorized under big "C" and small "c" cultures EFL context-based/Indonesian each theme. findings revealed that (1) book covered all themes, but their is not balanced; (2) some aspects local were represented books, number was very limited less varied. implication this suggests should allocate adequate space for culture. Hence, could be seen as opportunity teachers practitioners use authority empower themselves by providing supplementary materials best suit needs.
